Approving content from your phone without losing control
Mobile approval only works if the decision is genuinely small: read, tap, done. What the approval surface must show — and what it must never need.
Content approvals die in inboxes. A .docx attached to an email, four screens of comments, a "see attached final" that is not final — by the time you have context, the train has left the station.
Moving approval to the phone does not fix this by itself. A small screen just makes the same friction smaller and harder. Mobile approval works only when the decision itself is made small:
- Show the article as the reader will see it. Title, cover, body with real typography. Not a diff, not a draft link.
- Three decisions, never more. Approve, request changes, discard. A comment box for changes, nothing else. If the decision needs a meeting, the decision is too big.
- Show what the product claims. The riskiest sentence in any marketing article is the one about the product. Surface claims prominently and the review gets faster, not slower.
- Make the consequence visible. After the tap: it publishes, indexes and schedules. No second tool, no "now copy this into Buffer".
The approval step is the last gate between a brand and the internet. It deserves to be easy enough that it actually happens — every week, from wherever you are.
This is how the r3traffic approval inbox works: readable previews, three buttons, and a five-minute weekly habit.
